Dear Cowboy Family,

A tragedy has occurred and we have lost one of our own.  Joshua Hershberger, a varsity player, died Monday, March 6, 2006. It is a time like this that makes us all reflect on what is important in our lives like family and friends.   

The Hershberger’s have been the heart and soul of our varsity team the past few years as team parents and participants.  They were not only parents to their own but to all of ours.  Joshua was a true leader and friend to his teammates and coaches.  His spirit touched us all and made us better for that. 


May 13, 2006 - Christina Parry, mother of Junior Varsity Cheerleader, Cierra Adams died in a car accident in Seffner. 


On Saturday, June 24^th, 2006 the Cowboy family lost a treasured member after a battle with Cancer.  Mary Henry was a dear mother, wife, and friend to many in the Brandon community.  Mary served on the Cowboy Board as Concession Manager from 2002 to early 2004.  She also dedicated her time as a Team Parent who was well known for organizing elaborate buffets for her cheerleaders and parents. She will truly be missed. 





Lil C" Fletcher - 2 year old son of Carlton & Crissi Fletcher and brother of Ryan, Sean, Cole & Tyler passed away due to Myocarditis, a heart infection, Friday, August 17, 2007.  Many of the you knew Lil C from the time he was born.  Little C was very special to the Brandon Cowboys. We all loved him very much and we will always carry his sweet precious memory in our hearts forever.
